Dunti LLC Wins Contract From
Department of Homeland Security For Critical Infrastructure
Cyber Security Technology Development
Austin, Texas, May 17, 2004
– Dunti LLC, a technology innovation
company specializing in providing innovative network
security, has been awarded a Phase I Small Business
Innovation Research (SBIR) Contract from the U.S. Department
of Homeland Security (DHS) under Homeland Security Advanced
Research Projects Agency (HSARPA) program. Under this
grant Dunti LLC will develop innovative secure communication
mechanism for Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition
(SCADA) systems. SCADA systems control power generation,
water treatment and distribution, oil and gas pipelines,
and other critical infrastructure industries.
The Phase I work will generate a proof
of concept system and feasibility analysis report. Input
will be solicited from SCADA product vendors, service
providers, and users. Phase I will be completed by September
2004. Phase II, if funded, will develop secure SCADA
communication products that will be deployed at the
beta sites of potential customers.
