… increasing efficiency of the networks

The networking industry has developed incrementally over the years resulting in today’s complex networks, a mosaic of multifarious technologies. As the network has grown beyond the scope of the original intent, even simple functions such as packet delivery have become very complex. The operating cost and the capital cost associated with the networks have increased exponentially with the growth of the size of the network. The delivery of packets can be compared to the mail delivery system. Today’s packet delivery mechanism is similar to the US Post Office delivering mail before they adopted ‘Zip-Codes’. Mail sorting and delivery was very inefficient and time consuming, forcing the Post Office to adopt the ‘Zip-Code’ based mail delivery system.

Today’s networks are large, often spanning the globe. The applications using them are demanding high performance and large throughput at lower costs. To satisfy these demands, networks need a similar breakthrough as ‘Zip-Codes’ that will introduce efficiency and scale with the future demands. Carriers and service providers need efficient networks for their very survival. It is critical for any new scheme to leverage on the large investment in the current network infrastructure and be transparent to the users.

Dunti introduces efficient Intelligent Architecture™ based on an innovative packet delivery mechanism that increases the efficiency of packet transmission across the network enabling :

  • High performance, large capacity, low latency packet transmission;
  • Dramatically lower both capital and operating costs;
  • Complete compatibility with existing networks;
  • Compatibility and interoperability with popular protocols; and
  • Complete transparency to the users.
